I personally choose the Samsung Omnia. With its 5.0 MP camera, its takes great pictures of houses without me havin to carry around another camera. It runs on Windows mobile 6.1 which makes it able to edit word and texts documents and very compatible with all my emails. Plus many apps are more compatible than they are with the RIM of Blackberry.

Word on the street is that Verizon us about to get the Pearl 2. Agents will get a 2 megapixel camera, EvDo for broadband wireless access to the MLS, and of course the most stable email platform of them all -- Blackberry. I just switched server companies to www.mailstreet.com and am delighted with them. Andy Norton, Broker, DC Homes, Realtors. Allen Hainge Cyberstar for Washington DC

I've got the T-mobile 8700g Blackberry. I don't see how other agents can work without a smart phone.

I just recently cancelled my T-mobile Hot Spot since Starbucks and Borders were the only areas for access; now I have ordered an air card from Verizon to have internet access anywhere.

Hmmm...now to find out if I need to cancel Tmobile altogether and have VZ for my phone as well.

Update to above comment...

At approximately 2:00, just three hours after my comment on your post, my blackberry 7130 went to sleep and didn't wake up. I think I offended it by me commenting on another phone. I went out to check out the new 8830 but my contract doesn't come up for renewal until September so they say I don't qualify for a new phone unless I want to pay retail. I'll wait it out with my loaner phone...

That's good to see...I do have Verizon as my provider and I have not been impressed with their phones but this one looks interesting. I think this is a great blog and after reading a previous post one of my goals for the coming year is to upgrade my laptop to a tablet.

I need to become more "techie" this year...
