New compact technology for your mobile real estate business

Are you a mobile real estate agent? If so, you know that mobile broadband technology has seen some major improvements over the last few years. Well, tomorrow (October 5th) you will see another step forward in mobile computing technology as Verizon introduces their new compact external broadband modem. The USB727 is claimed to be the world’s smallest EV-DO (Evolution-Data Optimized) modem. That’s right, no more huge hardware attachments awkwardly hanging from your laptop. This new modem boasts download speeds from 600kbps to 1.4Mbps and upload speeds around 350 to 500kbps. As if the small size was not alluring enough, the USB727 has integrated microSD, meaning that you can store up to 4 GB of files for your mobile business.

Also note that Sprint will be launching the device next month under the name U727.
