And instead of Antivirus, I would highly recommend SuRun instead, which gives you a limited user account that can password-authenticate to an administrator account for individual tasks that need administrator access (which are very few and very seldom). This offers much more reliable security against malware and is better in line with what Ubuntu and Mac OS X already use.
