		<description>I really haven&#039;t seen a case since the mid-1990s where one would need to defragment Windows to affect performance, given the size of hard drives and RAM as well as the high speed of processors. 
 
And instead of Antivirus, I would highly recommend SuRun instead, which gives you a limited user account that can password-authenticate to an administrator account for individual tasks that need administrator access (which are very few and very seldom). This offers much more reliable security against malware and is better in line with what Ubuntu and Mac OS X already use. </description>

		<description>I would have to say, Microsoft&#039;s Disk Defragmenter utility stops just short of what I need in XP.  I found that Raxco.com&#039;s Disk Defrag solution is much better, and does a more thorough job. </description>
