Hey Reggie:

This looks really cool! Can you point me to some examples of WP sites using the plugin and google maps? I'd love to see how others have implemented it. Thanks!

@Ann - It's my pleasure!

@Ken - Totally agree! Local search adds the consumer's experience. I love the idea of looking for homes and then being able to research the community or neighborhood.

@Rebecca - Sweet! Let me know how it goes.

Thank you so much for breaking this down this way. I've been looking at Google maps for my area for my blog and for my website, but just had not been able to get this far with it.

Thank YOU!!!

Hey Matt,
Glad you liked it!

So are you saying that you would like to set boundaries with latitude and longitude so you could pull data specifically from within those boundaries? That does sound useful. -Reg

Reggie,

Once again you have blown my engineering mind by boiling this down to a level of implementation. I have long been a fan of the Google Local feature and tried to promote it on a number of levels. Do you know if they have any plans of allowing the search to focus more on Geo-coding with Lat and Long instead of zipcodes? I was talking with the guys at Onboard LLC. www.onboardllc.com and that's one of the features that they are offering agents that work in markets like ours that are crossing Zip and MLS areas.

Great post.
