Then redownload the template file here. The upload it and re-select it as the template. This should fix your problem. Let me know.

@Deb – I do know of a plug-in that fixes this issue for WordPress.org users, but not for WordPress.com. I'll see what I can come up with.

That is correct, and this is not the first html code that was swallowed. It seems that anything other than standard formatting will not make it through the publish vortex.

Now that I look at the website, I am having other pages that I created like the google local search that was working but isn't anymore when I published it. It gives me a message 'sorry the page you are looking for cannot be found'. So I am not sure what is going on.

Then when you published the page did it show both sidebars? Once you let me know I'll respond back. You can email me directly at renicolay[at]gmail.com.

@Deb- WordPress.com should support this iFrame code when applied to a page. However I have seen times where the WordPress editor magically deletes html code. Is that what's happening?

I am following the directions and for some reason the code drops when I publish the site. Are we able to do this with wordpress.com?

No problem.  I see you are using the Revolution Blog theme.  Do you have the ability to FTP a file to your host? If so I have made the necessary changes. Download this file. Then extract the 1 file and add it to your wp-content/themes folder.

To start I downloaded the files from Brian Gardner. I noticed that your design uses two sidebars on the right side. Why don’t we just try removing one? The left one perhaps. He’s what I did…

*Anyone following these steps: I always recommend making a back up of your site files.

1. OK, first let’s make a duplicate copy of the page.php file in the WordPress template directory.

2. I renamed the duplicate copy “page2.php”

3. Then open “page2.php” and insert the following at the very top of the page:

4. Now to remove one of the sidebar’s for more room.  In the file “page2.php” remove the following: <?php include(TEMPLATEPATH."/l_sidebar.php");?>

5. Now FTP (save a copy to the server) of the “page2.php” we created

6. Now go to your WordPress admin and edit the Cyberhomes page you created

7. Under Page Template select “CyberSearch”

8. Click “Save” and check your site…the changes should be live

Now the iFrame can have a larger width. So you should try editing the iFraame code and make the width more like “690px”

If this still is not wide enough, you can remove <?php include(TEMPLATEPATH."/r_sidebar.php");?> from page2.php.  Let me know how this works.

Do you have any information on how to change the template page in wordpress that would be easy to follow. Those scroll bars might be sort of a hassle since because like you said that the display area is narrow.
