Starting with the fact that the Foleo had flash memory, bluetooth, wifi and the biggest limitation was the OS...Windows Mobile or Palm OS-based Palm based treo's. I think that's a big reason the device never took off. This idea is really around adding a docking station to Smartphone. oh, also learned that Palm announced the device on May 30, 2007, and canceled the unit on September 4, 2007. Wow...short life. I’m not very knowledgeable about the Palm Foleo, but from what I can tell they are much different. Starting with the fact that the Foleo had flash memory, bluetooth, wifi and the biggest limitation was the OS…Windows Mobile or Palm OS-based Palm based treo’s. I think that’s a big reason the device never took off.

This idea is really around adding a docking station to Smartphone.
