Kathleen- Thanks for the Sonoma love! Be sure to download the new ebook: Twitter for Real Estate Twits. You might recognize some familiar faces, examples!

Samuel- I agree. Technology and communication will always be evolving...some tools will die..others will persist, grow, adapt, etc. I think learning and embracing enough TECH to feed your passion (and job) is all you need to have a successful...and fun-filled ride! We're never too old for Disneyland!

Thanks for the helpful ideas on building communities. It is certainly a good sign that Twitter is here to stay when you hear that Facebook is trying to model their friends update area after Twitter's. See today,s NYT article http://preview.tinyurl.com/box9e8

Twitter is a great tool for connecting. I'm just curious how long it will last. Not to long ago the thing to have was a MySpace Profile. Now MySpace has become that abandoned property no one wants to go inside of. I feel like there will be social media sites and tools that will create a huge impact in the web 2.0 world then become almost obsolete when the next best thing arrives. But I guess we just have to ride the wave and get the most from them while they are here.

Chris- You could use a "twidget" (twitter widget) to display your latest tweet on your blog. http://www.widgetbox.com/widget/twidget

Or, there IS a more integrated solution that we'll be talking about in an upcoming article series. So stay tuned...I promise to deliver some sweet solutions.

Niknik, do you know if there is a Twitter App for your real estate website, where someone who visits your site can also see your comings and goings on Twitter. Also, do you think first time home buyers (specifically that age group) is Twittering these days or is it mostly an older crowd? Gracias

Karen & Jenn- It wasn't all that long ago that I was resisting Twitter...then embracing it as a newbie. At first I followed and tweeted with many Twits I already knew from other networks. It's a comfortable place to be and easier to ask for help from those you know. But as I started employing apps and other Web tools to broaden my network, I realized there were many others I could learn from and share with. So when I run across someone with a unique profile, interesting bio, or awesome blog I try my best to "Tweet It Forward" by sharing their uniqueness or expertise with my existing network.

I hope you find Twitter to be as helpful and fun as I have....and if you get stuck, don't be afraid to ask clarifying questions....Twits LOVE answering!

I'm new to Twitter too and never realized how powerful it was until now. Active listening is very important as messages can be misread or not read at all.

Wow...a comment AND testimonial! Now this IS one fabulous Friday! Isn't it "crazy good" how Twitter can make us all come together....sharing, learning, laughing, etc. And that those interactions, if targeted correctly, can yield some pretty amazing connections. Woohoo! You're username should be SeeJaneROCK!!!!

Fan - TASTIC! Really, really like that post!

And, you know you said: 'Even making a random Blip.fm dedication to a twit that’s having an off day can create viral happiness!'????

Well, here's The Testimonial: I really does work! I got a Blip.fm dedication from you when I was having a yukky day ... it so lifted my spirits! So thank you for the dedication. And thank you for bringing that to our attention!
