Great post on Tweetups! As someone who runs a Tweetup Planning and Promotional service in Boston I would agree with all your points.

I like your recommendations for Tweetstickers, have you used them before? Have you seen http://tweetupbadges.com/?

What’s the tweetup vibe like there and how often do they take place?

How do people find out about tweetups there?

We prefer http://eventbrite.com over twtvite here, so much so we partnered with them and recently wrote about how to put together a successful tweetup. http://blog.eventbrite.com/boston-tweetup

True that! Twitter can provide more exposure for your business, give your blog content legs, and help you grow your network…among other things. I spend a great deal of time online, so it’s rather refreshing to meet tweeps face to face and enjoy some fun! Have you been to a tweet up in Florida yet?
